How many months until court????

We are starting to gather/buy items we will be taking with us.

My heart is HaPpY

Caleb and I were down at the Apple store Friday night picking up his laptop. As we were walking around I told him that every time I look at our little guys picture it makes my heart happy. Work has been a little stressful lately...Ok little is the wrong word to use. I find myself in the middle of my meetings pulling up his picture on my phone and just taking him in. I tear up every time I look at him...I tear up just thinking about him. Tears of joy that he is ours.

Update on my post...A little and a love...

When we received our update email on our little guys measurements his weight was down more than I liked. I sent an email to the agency asking if I should be worried. Caleb and I knew that his weight would probably go down a little being in the orphanage. I got a phone call yesterday from our Agency with another update on his weight. We found out that he had been hospitalized for Malaria. This is the reason for the loss of weight. He is out of the hospital and doing better we're told.

I can honestly say that as I listened to my voicemail my heart sank. I called Caleb to let him know what was going on. This helpless feeling is really overwhelming. We are keeping our thoughts positive and hoping that he will get back to his healthy little self soon.

Airfare....check it off our list

Today we booked our airfare for our first trip over to meet our little guy. We are flying through Paris. Spending a couple of days taking in Paris then off to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am pretty excited to go to Paris. All of our travels normally are related to warm weather and a beach.

A little and a love...

Today we received an update email on our little guy. He is a little longer... a little lighter...and a whole lot of cuteness. We were also told he loves milk. Not sure what baby doesn't love milk but at this point he is already taking after his dad.
