Oh HaPpY DaY

We are one step closer to being a FAMILY of three. Today we received an email with our court date. We are scheduled for November 26, 2010. I cannot think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. So now we need to start looking into airfare, getting our shots, gathering paperwork and so much more. I am really surprised that we actually have a date. Yes I teared up when I got the email. This is another huge milestone of this amazing adventure.

Gotta keep busy some how.....

Not knowing when we will hear about our court date I have been trying to keep busy. I am sure there are a lot of things I should be doing instead of crafts like the gym or cleaning Projects seem to be a stress reliever for me. So I decided to work on our little guys room some more. Here are a couple of pics of the latest things that have been done.

We painted and glazed these shelves. We already had the

motorcycles just needed some where to display them.

I bought this cute toy. I thought our little guy needed

an elephant on a string. Why not, right?

So I had bought a sign that said dream that was hanging

over the dresser but as I wait I get bored. So I did this.

I painted everything and glazed them. I cut the Africa out of 

fabric.  I made the two oval things chalk boards. Just big 

enough for one word. Right now they say smile and play...

but I can change them anytime I want. 

Hmmm...so now what? My next little project for his room is a toy box but I need a little help from my crafty woodworking father-n-law. Caleb has given him a heads up for me. I just need to draw up what is in my head and try and explain it to him.  Honestly, it will not be hard. I tried to convince a decorating store the other day to sell me one of their storage crates but I walked out of there empty handed...so now we take things into our own hands and build one.

Who knew one could love a picture sooooo much? It is amazing how much I love the little guy in our one and only picture. For never meeting him....he has stolen my heart. I can't wait to give him loves and hold him in my arms. We are still patiently waiting for our court date. :)
