Still Waiting

I emailed the agency about a week ago to see if there was any new news. The person I spoke with said no but they are changing they way the paperwork is done to try to help with the long periods of waiting. They also said that they are starting to work with two more orphanages. That was good news. I just wish the next step would happen.

Another thought....I would consider myself an "e" stalker when it comes to people's blogs. (Just ask Caleb he will agree to this 100%) I like to read the blogs of other families who have adopted or are in the process. To read the stories both good and bad are interesting to me. While reading them I try to consider if their story is close to ours. If the people had a good experience will we as well? I have read a few stories about trouble with agencies, loss of a child and the heartache with adopting. I feel like we have and continue to do the research we need to do. I know this is what we are meant to do. I hope that our adventure has as few bumps in the road as possible. If there are pot holes i hope we can put our lives into four wheel drive and get past them. I hope to learn all I can be it good or bad and either apply what I have learned or disregard it as needed.

HaPpY 4th of July. I hope everyone gets to celebrate their Independence with their families.
