What's in a Name?

One of the most frequent questions Caleb and I get asked is "Do we have a name picked out?" Should we already know what we want to name our child? The only thing we have talked about is possibly keeping the given birth name as the first or middle name of our child. Being that we do not know what that is at this point we really do not even think about names. Most biological parents have a few names in mind or have had a name that they have always wanted to name his or her child. Once they see their baby they know if the name they have been thinking of fits. We don't know what our child will look like or have any clue what to name our child. For now, no name = no problem for us.

We get asked random questions quite often. Some of them catch me pretty off guard. I do not mind answering anything about our adoption process. Similar to the name question there are a lot of things that we really have not thought about. Why? Some questions depend on how old our child will be by the time we get him in our arms. Once we actually know details of who he is we will be able to really start answering some of these questions.
